…steal my brand new Nikon D850 and Sigma 85mm f1.4 lens today. When confronted, they tossed it into some bushes, where it landed in two pieces on impact. The lens popped off the body, damaging the metal mounting ring. Luckily I have 3 other Nikon cameras, the oldest being a D7100 that just sits on the shelf gathering dust. Nikon has been using the F mount since the film era and all I had to do is switch out the mounting ring. There was no other visible damage, lucky me. I would go broke if I gave to every Down and Out person who approached me on the street asking for spare change. His wagon is a rolling billboard. If you can decipher the words on his chalkboards, he feels the world owes him by demanding liens be applied to people’s property. It’s not quite apparent why.
