…Ashley Turney (l) was standing in as the City Clerk for Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve at an official ribbon cutting ceremony out on the City Hall plaza today, and later at the City Council meeting. Turney was the City Clerk for a number of years, but recently moved up to a different position within City Hall. Precariously hanging on for dear life, this fella was banging on the side of the vehicle and yelling at the driver to stop, as they sped down the street at high speed. …City Council meetings look like these days. Social distancing and masks required with City Council members safely up on a screen Zooming from home and the public in chambers dealing with the virus. Sadly, only 4 of the 7 council members found time to participate in the meeting.
