Day of the Dead Themed Mural
Because of the Bus Driver Strike, I had to walk to the grocery store today. A nearly 4 mile roundtrip walk. I took advantage of the trip not only to get a few days worth of groceries, but to get a close up view of this mural. A mural that I pass in the bus whenever I go to the store. A mural I’ve been wanting to capture for some time now. And I got my milk and eggs as well… Continue reading Day of the Dead Themed Mural

A newly installed sculpture…
I don’t have the particulars on this sculpture, but I’m assuming it’s another sculpture from the Burning Man collection. Highly detailed in it’s composition, it replaces the moving horse sculpture previously installed at this location along 4th Street. It appears to have internal lights, which I will photograph after dark in a long exposure sometime in the future. Continue reading A newly installed sculpture…

About a year ago, I was contacted by a publishing company wanting to use some of my photographs they had seen on my flickr page for a tourist brochure. The brochure was published back in February, but they evidently hadn’t distributed them until recently.
